Myrna Jordan Scholarship Fund

Myrna Jordan was a teacher and Principal at St. Thomas (now St. Vincent) as well as a longtime volunteer at St. Vincent school. Ms. Myrna, as she was lovingly called by all who loved her, retired several times from Catholic education in the Biloxi Dioceses. At one of those retirements she set up the Myrna Jordan Scholarship Fund for a fifth grader to attend sixth grade at St. Vincent dePaul. She set the requirements herself and for years enjoyed presenting the award at the school awards day ceremony. Friends and family were ask to contribute to the fund for her birthday each year. Ms. Myrna was a very active volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul School where she loved seeing children and even grandchildren of her former students.

In 2018  Ms. Myrna was called home for her heavenly reward. Her final wish was for donations be made in her memory to the Scholarship Fund. It is the wish of those who loved her to continue this Scholarship Fund for many years to come. If you would like to contribute any amount please send donations to:
